EV Conversion Process - Wiring Components
Now we can install all other electrical components under the hood and wire everything together. For 12V wiring we use standard automotive wires and connectors, organizes in neat wiring looms. For high voltage components we use industry standard 2/0 welding cable, made of hundreds of thin copper strands, which makes it very flexible and allows it to pass high current without heat loss. We also install heavy duty connector, so high voltage can be disconnected while performing any type of work or maintenance safely.
We use industry standard electrical schematics designed for EVs. We will provide you a copy of the schematics along with all other documentation, so you can learn how all components connect together.
